(Okay, I know there's nobody here, but come on, at least let me pretend that I am addressing an audience)
As we stand on the brink of a brand-new year, I am thrilled to kickstart an exciting adventure right here on MyOwnInfinity. Welcome to a month-long journey filled with interesting stories, inspiration, insights into industry trends, and a daily dose of me!
Why and How Did I Come Up With This?
Something about the year's end makes me really want to put my life together. Maybe it's the fear of having New Year resolutions ready or the realization that another year has passed and I haven't achieved my goals.
I have had this blog for the past four years now. Yes, you read that right. I started this blog in November of 2019, and as 2024 inches closer, I'm not gonna lie, I'm disappointed. I haven't given this blog the attention that it deserves.
I remember that four years back, I had a dream(that I should have achieved by now.) I wanted to make something out of writing blogs. I wanted to be my own boss. I wanted to show everyone that writing is a viable career and I can do it independently.
As every year drew to an end, I had the same realization that shit, I hadn't been working on my passion project. While I managed to make something out of my content writing career- I took part in various college clubs and did countless internships- I never really managed to follow my heart.
But something tells me this year is going to be different. (Okay, okay, hear me out.) I know I have thought about this every year, but I really want things to be different this time. I'm much more determined and mature, and I have decided to give this blog my all instead of helping some other company with their content.
What to Expect
When you go online and ask how to start a blog, finding a niche is the first and most frequent advice you'll find everywhere. However, I refuse to follow it. I'm not interested in only one thing; I like to believe I'm a jack of all trades, and so is my audience.
So, Instead of focusing on only one thing, I have decided to post blogs on a wide range of topics from Technology(because, come on, I cannot let my B. Tech degree go to waste. If I'm not making a career as an engineer, I might as well use it in my content.), Entertainment(because who doesn't love watching movies and TV shows and getting updates about what's happening?), and Relationships(I'm sure I don't even need to explain this.)
Don't worry; there are other topics, too, but I will mainly focus on these genres for now(unless there's something that you would like me to write about, please mention it in the comments, and I will diligently follow your suggestion.)
